Foam Machine Fabricators, Xycorp Inc

Xycorp is a Covington based foam machine fabricator, producing foam and coated foam products for the building, packaging and arts industries .

EPS is an abbreviation for Expanded Polystyrene which is the technical name for Styrofoam™. EPS is a great alternative to wood and other products in the building and decorating industries. It is used to make architectural shapes such as columns, crown moldings, corbels, window and door trim, etc. Other applications include custom molds, theatre sets, three dimensional products, and signs. Part of what makes us different is we build our own foam cutting machinery, which means we can quickly adapt to the changes and needs of our customers and produce just about anything you can think of.

After the foam products are produced they need to be protected. This generally means there is a coating applied to the surface of the foam. For exterior applications a cement based coating is the most common used. The we sell what we consider to be the best product for this – AutoCoat. Available in either grey or white base in 50lb bags, the material can be applied by your own plastering contractor or our in house plasterer can apply the finish for you. For interior applications AutoCoat can again be used or for a smoother finish drywall mud is a great choice.

3D Foam Shapes

EPS Products can produce a variety of three dimensional foam shapes. Whether props, art, panels, or molds – we can produced it! We utilize several types of machines and software to produce these products. Our main workhorse is one of the largest 3D EPS routers – and we should know as we manufacture these machines for other companies all over the world.
